Our research involves Applied Electrochemistry, Functional Surface Finishing Engineering, Materials Chemistry, Materials Science, Corrosion Science, and Inorganic Synthesis, with emphasis on the fabrication of various functional coating materials for broad applications such as automotive connectors and components, LED components, various lithium ion batteries, solar cells, fuel cells, sensors, perpendicular magnetic recording media, photo-catalysis, hydrogen production, corrosion resistance, friction and wear resistance, decoration, etc.
